Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tax Senior or Tax Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance and advisory services for our clients, ensuring accuracy and adherence to tax regulations. This role is pivotal in managing tax-related projects and providing strategic insights to enhance our clients' financial positions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax compliance and consulting engagements for a diverse client portfolio.
• Review and prepare federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
• Provide guidance on tax planning strategies and identify opportunities for tax savings for clients.
• Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information for tax filings and ensure timely submissions.
• Stay updated on tax law changes and communicate relevant updates to clients and team members.
• Supervise and mentor junior tax staff, providing training and support as needed.
• Utilize UltraTax and Thomson Reuters software for tax preparation and research.
• Assist in managing client relationships and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is a plus.
• Active CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, ideally in a public accounting environment.
• Proficient in using UltraTax and Thomson Reuters tax software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
