We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Tax Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax preparation and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of various tax returns. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in-office, catering to a balanced work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals (1040), estates (1041), and various business entities including S-corporations (1120S) and C-corporations (1120).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members in tax preparation and compliance processes.
- Assist clients in identifying tax planning opportunities and strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to advise clients effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to support comprehensive financial planning and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax preparation.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations relevant to individual and business entities.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
