Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax compliance, planning and strategy for our clients, ensuring adherence to tax regulations, and providing expert guidance on tax-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee tax reporting and compliance for various clients
- Develop tax strategies that align with clients' business goals
- Review and approve tax returns, including 1040s, S-Corps, and Partnerships
- Provide expert advice on tax implications of business decisions
- Coordinate and lead tax audits and resolve tax-related issues
- Stay updated on tax regulations and changes to ensure compliance
- Train and mentor junior staff in tax-related matters
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Active CPA license is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management
- Strong understanding of public accounting practices
- Experience with S-Corps, partnerships, and individual tax returns (1040s)
- Knowledge of trust taxation and compliance is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
