Role Overview
As a Tax Attorney, you will play a key role advising clients on U.S. and international tax matters, including:
- Structuring cross-border transactions and investments
- Advising on tax-efficient strategies for multinational entities and individuals
- Navigating complex U.S. federal income tax issues, including inbound and outbound investments
- Supporting estate and trust planning with international components
- Collaborating with attorneys across corporate, litigation, and private client practices
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school; LL.M. in Taxation preferred
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in U.S. and international tax law
- Strong analytical, research, and drafting skills
- Experience with cross-border estate planning and tax treaties is a plus
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or another foreign language is advantageous but not required
