The Survey Party Chief is responsible for leading and supervising survey teams in the execution of surveying projects. The role involves coordinating fieldwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications, and effectively communicating with clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise survey crews in the field to ensure accurate data collection and project completion
- Plan and organize survey activities and coordinate the logistics of fieldwork
- Utilize GPS and Total Station equipment to conduct various types of surveys
- Review and interpret blueprints to ensure all surveying is in accordance with project specifications
- Maintain detailed records of survey data and prepare reports for clients and stakeholders
- Train and mentor junior survey staff on surveying techniques and equipment usage
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies during surveying operations
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a leadership role as a Party Chief
- Proficiency in using GPS and Total Station surveying equipment
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments

Salary : $90,000 - $130,000
