Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of water and wastewater treatment plants.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding water quality and wastewater treatment.
- Manage and supervise a team of operators and maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Coordinate and manage construction projects related to water infrastructure, including pump stations and dam construction.
- Develop and manage budgets for the water and wastewater departments.
- Implement and monitor safety programs and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory agencies and management.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and wastewater operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, wastewater treatment processes, and relevant regulations.
- Experience in managing construction projects related to water infrastructure, including pump stations and marine construction.
