Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of construction projects
- Coordinate and supervise construction crews and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management
- Manage project budgets and schedules effectively
- Communicate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders
- Resolve on-site issues and conflicts as they arise
- Conduct inspections and ensure quality control throughout the construction process
- Proven experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction
- Strong knowledge of roadway and bridge construction techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training
