Senior Software Development Engineer

Location: onsite in Loomis, CA (greater Sacramento)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing cutting-edge storage solutions that integrate both software and hardware components. The role demands a deep understanding of PCIe, NVMe, and memory technologies, alongside proficiency in developing robust test solutions that ensure the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software components for advanced storage solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications.
• Implement and optimize kernel driver architectures for Linux-based systems.
• Develop and maintain enterprise test automation frameworks for multi-component systems.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and automated tests for software and hardware integration.
• Utilize programming languages such as C, C , Python, Bash, and LabVIEW for development and testing tasks.
• Work with SAS and CXL protocols to enhance storage performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software/hardware interactions and storage technologies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in full life-cycle software development.
• Strong knowledge of PCIe, NVMe, and memory technologies.
• Experience in developing storage test solutions and automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Linux and kernel driver architecture.
• Familiarity with programming languages: C, C , Python, Bash, and LabVIEW.
• Understanding of multi-component systems and their integration challenges.
