We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced mechanical systems used in medical devices. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in mechanical design and materials to innovate and improve product performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for cryogenic systems and pressure vessels, focusing on efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electronic components and software.
- Conduct rigorous testing and analysis to validate designs and performance of liquid oxygen systems and other medical device components.
- Prepare and present technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports, in compliance with ISO standards.
- Utilize GD&T principles to ensure designs meet stringent quality requirements and facilitate manufacturability.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in mechanical design and engineering processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience with cryogenic systems and pressure vessels.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software for mechanical design.
- Familiarity with GD&T standards and ISO certification processes.
- Experience with liquid oxygen systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
