We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Controls Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing electrical controls design for complex industrial processes, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles as well as project management experience to lead projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical design and skid building.
- Lead projects in system integration, ensuring compatibility and functionality of various components.
- Ensure compliance with C1D1/C1D2 standards in hazardous area designs.
- Select and specify instrumentation and field devices for process control applications.
- Conduct project management activities, including planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Perform calculations and designs and provide technical support to installation teams.
- Strong electrical background is essential, with hands-on experience in creating electrical drawings and skid building.
- AutoCAD Electrical
- Strong understanding of system integration and hazardous area design principles.
- Experience with instrumentation and field devices, particularly in a plant manufacturing environment.
- Nice to have: Experience with SCADA, hydrogen systems and a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, C1D1/C1D2 standards.
