Sr. ASIC Design Engineer - CPU

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. ASIC Design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance CPU architectures, focusing on advanced ASIC design techniques and methodologies. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance CPU architectures using ASIC design techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define microarchitectural specifications and requirements.
• Implement and verify complex digital designs using RISC-V architecture.
• Utilize AXI and CHI protocols for efficient data transfer and communication within the system.
• Conduct thorough validation and testing of floating-point operations and other critical functionalities.
• Optimize designs for power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics.
• Document design specifications, methodologies, and test plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in ASIC design and verification, with a focus on CPU architecture.
• Proficiency in RISC-V architecture and design principles.
• Strong understanding of AXI and CHI protocols.
• Experience in floating-point design and microarchitectural optimization.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design and verification tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
