The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance CPU architectures, focusing on advanced ASIC design techniques and methodologies. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to innovative projects in the semiconductor industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance CPU architectures using ASIC design techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define microarchitectural specifications and requirements.
- Implement and verify complex digital designs using RISC-V architecture.
- Utilize AXI and CHI protocols for efficient data transfer and communication within the system.
- Conduct thorough validation and testing of floating-point operations and other critical functionalities.
- Optimize designs for power, performance, and area (PPA) metrics.
- Document design specifications, methodologies, and test plans to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in ASIC design and verification, with a focus on CPU architecture.
- Proficiency in RISC-V architecture and design principles.
- Strong understanding of AXI and CHI protocols.
- Experience in floating-point design and microarchitectural optimization.
- Familiarity with industry-standard design and verification tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
