Position Overview
The Sheet Metal Database Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the data integrity of sheet metal production processes. This role involves coordinating database activities, analyzing data, and ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management to support the production team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the sheet metal production database to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to gather and input relevant data into the database.
- Utilize CAD software to support designs and updates in the database.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends and improve production efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure that materials are tracked accurately in the database.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards in data management.
- Prepare technical documentation and reports for project coordination and stakeholder communication.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline database processes and enhance overall productivity.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication, ideally with field experience
- Familiarity with Stratus and SysQue (or similar fabrication management platforms)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and data management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both field and office personnel
- Experience with construction technology tools and workflows is a plus
