This role requires hands-on expertise in equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance, playing a critical part in the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up injection molding machines for production runs.
- Perform equipment calibration and adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues to maintain production efficiency.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections on molding equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Assist in mold setup and startup processes, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize processes and minimize downtime.
- Proven experience in troubleshooting and operating plastic injection molding machines.
- Strong background in machine maintenance and equipment calibration.
- Able to work 12 hr shift on 2/2/3 rotation.
- Familiarity with production efficiency practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMP and GDP standards related to manufacturing processes.
- Experience with mold setup and startup is highly desirable.
- Fork truck certification and Lock out Tag out Certification are a plus.
- Understanding of Cleanroom Protocols is an advantage
