Service Manager - Controls
Position Overview
The Service Manager - Controls will oversee the operations of the controls service department, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing a team of technicians, coordinating service activities, and maintaining the highest standards in building automation and HVAC control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing field service, troubleshooting, and system repairs on Delta Controls and other building automation systems.
- Develop and implement service strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction in the controls department.
- Coordinate and schedule service calls, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Conduct training sessions for technicians to enhance their skills in Delta Controls, BAS, and other relevant technologies.
- Maintain relationships with clients and ensure their needs are met by providing technical support and solutions.
- Monitor service performance metrics and prepare reports for management to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a service management role within the HVAC or Building Automation industry.
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems, HVAC controls, Delta Controls, and BAS.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical certifications relevant to HVAC and building automation are a plus.
