The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tax management and a strong accounting background.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Develop and implement tax strategies that align with the organization's goals.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning, risk management, and compliance issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and transactions from a tax perspective.
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax management or related field.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Proven leadership and managerial skills with experience in mentoring teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
$145,000-$185,000/year salary
