Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization.
- Coordinate tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Provide guidance and support to internal departments regarding tax matters.
- Train and mentor junior tax staff in tax accounting practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
