What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for various clients, including individuals, corporations, and partnerships.
- Conduct tax research and provide clear, professional advice on tax compliance and planning matters.
- Manage communication with clients, acting as a key contact for tax-related inquiries and information gathering.
- Assist in identifying and implementing tax planning strategies to minimize client liabilities.
- Provide support and guidance to tax staff and interns on various projects.
What You Need for this Position
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm.
- Strong working knowledge of tax compliance and regulations for various entity types.
- Active CPA or actively pursuing CPA/EA certification.
- Experience serving clients in specialized industries we serve (e.g., Oil & Gas, Hospitality, Real Estate).
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client engagements and meet tight deadlines.
- Competitive Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
