Senior Tax Accountant- Hybrid

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our finance team in a hybrid work environment. This position is responsible for overseeing tax compliance, preparing tax returns, and ensuring adherence to federal and state tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax planning and financial reporting, with the ability to analyze complex tax issues and provide strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns to ensure compliance with all regulations.
• Conduct thorough analyses of tax regulations and policies to ensure adherence to GAAP and IRS guidelines.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Coordinate and manage IRS audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
• Prepare financial reports related to tax obligations and compliance status.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with tax laws.
• Utilize accounting software and Microsoft Excel for tax data analysis and reporting.
• Provide guidance and support to junior tax staff and other departments on tax-related matters.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations and compliance.
• Experience in preparing various types of tax returns and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
