The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing soil properties, and providing expert guidance on foundation design and soil stability. This role requires a strong background in geotechnical engineering principles and practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality engineering solutions for various projects.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct geotechnical site investigations and assessmentsAnalyze soil and rock samples to determine engineering propertiesPrepare geotechnical reports and design recommendationsCollaborate with project teams to ensure geotechnical considerations are addressed in designProvide expert advice on foundation design, slope stability, and earth retention systemsReview and interpret geotechnical data and reports from junior engineersEnsure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulationsMentor and train junior geotechnical engineers and techniciansQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineeringStrong knowledge of site investigation techniques and soil analysisExperience with geotechnical software and modeling toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailBenefitsMedical, dental, visionPTOHolidays - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
