The Senior Fire Sprinkler Designer will be responsible for designing fire protection sprinkler systems for various types of buildings, ensuring compliance with safety codes and standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers and project managers to develop effective and efficient fire suppression systems that meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop fire sprinkler systems using industry-standard software like HydraCAD and AutoSPRINK.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and fire protection system analysis to ensure compliance with NFPA standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including plans, specifications, and calculations for review and approval.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of fire sprinkler systems to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and regulations related to fire protection and sprinkler design.
- High schooll diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in fire sprinkler design and engineering experience.
- NICET certification is a PLUS
- Experience with SprinkCAD, HydraCAD, or AutoSPRINK
- Strong knowledge of NFPA codes, OSHA regulations, and fire safety standards.
- Excellent project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
