Senior Estimator - Civil Construction

We're looking for a seasoned Estimator to lead high-value, high-impact bids in the heavy civil space. 

Comp plan:

• Base Salary: $150,000-$220,000 depending on experience

What You'll Be Doing:
You'll take the reins on estimating some of the most technically demanding and rewarding projects in the region-think highways, dams, rail, and mining. You'll collaborate with engineers, PMs, and field leaders to craft bids that are both competitive and executable.

• Lead the full lifecycle of the bidding process
• Review plans, specifications, geotechnical data, and site conditions
• Develop cost strategies that win work and build trust
• Analyze vendor and subcontractor proposals for value and fit
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment
• Participate in site visits, pre-bid meetings, and scope reviews
• Support project handoff and stay engaged post-award

What You Bring:

• 5 years of experience estimating heavy civil projects
• Proven track record bidding $150M jobs independently
• Expertise in earthwork, stormwater, utilities, bridges, and structural scopes
• Proficiency with HCSS Heavy Bid, Bluebeam, MS Office; AGTEK and P6 are a plus
• Strong understanding of field operations, equipment, and production rates
• A team-first attitude and a passion for mentoring
• Preference for in-office collaboration and team engagement
