Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic insights through data analysis and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards
• Manage budget preparation and forecasting processes to support financial planning
• Conduct account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records
• Implement and improve internal controls and processes to enhance financial efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial decision-making
• Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate financial data in accounting software systems, including Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite
• Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
• Provide training and mentorship to junior accounting staff
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, and Prophet 21
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Knowledge of compliance regulations and internal controls
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
