Senior Electrical Engineer - PE

Global MEP & Structural Engineering firm with a track record in education, healthcare, commercial & aviation construction seeks Sr Electrical Engineer w/ Active PE

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and project management skills to deliver innovative solutions in electrical engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for healthcare, education, commercial construction, and aviation projects.
• Prepare detailed electrical design documents, including specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluations to determine the electrical needs of projects.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, providing updates to clients and team members as needed.
• Review and approve shop drawings and submittals from contractors during the construction phase.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on MEP and electrical design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit for electrical design.
• Experience in power distribution, low voltage systems, and lightning protection.
• Knowledge of healthcare, education, commercial construction, and aviation standards is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
