Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for drywall and metal framing projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to gather required information and clarify project details.
- Utilize estimating software such as OST and QuickBid to generate comprehensive estimates and proposals.
- Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and gather data for accurate estimations.
- Analyze historical data to inform future estimates and improve bidding accuracy.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labor costs to ensure competitive pricing.
- 3 years of experience as a Drywall Estimator bidding for commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of drywall, metal framing, and related construction practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software, specifically OST and QuickBid.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
