Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and transformation.
- Develop and maintain data warehousing solutions to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and provide insights.
- Utilize big data technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache Hadoop for data processing.
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) to manage and deploy data solutions.
- Implement data modeling techniques to create optimal data structures for analytics.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Advise on best practices for data architecture and management across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in data engineering or a related field
- Familiarity with APIs, orchestration tools, and data automation
- Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery
- Familiarity with data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Hadoop)
- Proficient with Python and SQL
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts and data analysis techniques
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Kubernetes)
- $150K - $210K Salary
