Senior Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estimating for commercial construction projects, demonstrating a keen ability to assess project costs accurately and efficiently. The Senior Estimator will play a critical role in project planning and financial management, ensuring that bids are competitive and align with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Review and evaluate bid proposals to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor and assess market trends to provide informed recommendations on pricing and resources.
- Assist in preparing and presenting cost proposals to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating for commercial construction projects.
- Proficient in estimating software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
