The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support in grinding applications, ensuring optimal performance of grinding machines and systems. This role involves working closely with manufacturing teams to develop and implement effective grinding solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for grinding applications and machine systems
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize grinding processes
- Conduct customer training on grinding machine operation and maintenance
- Develop and implement process improvements for grinding applications
- Assist in troubleshooting issues related to grinding machines and systems
- Evaluate customer requirements and propose suitable grinding solutions
- Prepare technical documentation and reports related to grinding applications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in grinding applications.
- Strong knowledge of CNC grinding machine technologies and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with SolidWorks, FEA, and AutoCAD is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Up to $125,000 base salary (DOE)
