We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insight into financial performance. This role is critical in supporting the financial health of the organization and requires strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
- Support the legal billing process and ensure accuracy in billing statements
- Collaborate with external auditors during financial audits
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA certification is highly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Experience with legal billing processes is a plus
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
