Safety Superintendent - Mission Critical
Location: York, SC
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 (Based on Experience)

A leading electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Safety Superintendent to provide leadership and oversight of safety programs across electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring OSHA and electrical code compliance, mentoring field safety personnel, and partnering with project teams to eliminate workplace hazards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor Safety Coordinators and Safety Specialists across multiple job sites.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, NEC, and other applicable regulations.
• Coordinate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and corrective action plans.
• Evaluate subcontractor safety performance and promote continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of safety experience in electrical or industrial construction.
• 2 years in a safety leadership or supervisory role.
• OSHA 500 or 510 required; CHST, CSP, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical construction safety, hazard recognition, and risk mitigation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
