Position Overview

The Safety & HR Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace while managing human resources functions. This position involves implementing safety policies, conducting training, and supporting HR processes to foster a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
• Coordinate safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
• Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees within the HR department.
• Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and safety concerns.
• Collaborate with management to create a healthy and safe work environment and address any EHS issues that arise.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a safety coordinator and/or HR coordinator role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or Human Resources is a plus.
