Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
- Coordinate safety training programs for employees to promote a culture of safety and awareness.
- Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees within the HR department.
- Manage employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and safety concerns.
- Collaborate with management to create a healthy and safe work environment and address any EHS issues that arise.
- Proven experience in a safety coordinator and/or HR coordinator role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety or Human Resources is a plus.
