Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled PLC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, programming, and implementing control systems for various industrial automation processes. The PLC Programmer will work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
• Configure and program Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) for user interaction.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues within PLC and HMI systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to create and modify control system designs.
• Implement and maintain SCADA systems for real-time data monitoring and control.
• Work with robotic systems and integrate them into existing workflows.
• Utilize SolidWorks for layout and design of automation solutions.
• Provide support and training to operators and maintenance staff on automation systems.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
• Strong experience with Rockwell (or similar)
• Experience with HMI programming and configuration.
• Experience in GM (General Motors) Industrial machine standards would be a huge bonus.
• Familiarity with Fanuc robotics and integration would be a bonus.
• Understanding of SCADA systems and their applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
