We are seeking a motivated and experienced EBP Audit Supervisor/Manager to oversee and manage our Employee Benefit Plan audit engagements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with ERISA regulations and providing exceptional service to our clients in the public accounting sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage employee benefit plan audit engagements for various clients
- Ensure compliance with ERISA regulations and applicable auditing standards
- Prepare and review financial statements and audit reports related to employee benefit plans
- Lead audit teams and provide training and mentorship to junior staff
- Communicate effectively with clients to address their audit needs and provide recommendations
- Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry standards related to employee benefits and audits
- Assist in business development efforts by identifying opportunities for service improvement and expansion
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA certification is required
- Minimum 5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on employee benefit plan audits
- In-depth knowledge of ERISA regulations and employee benefit plans (401K, 403b, IRA)
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
