We are a national contractor with over 30 billion in backlog. Many local projects but we also support other industrial construction throughout the region.
Pay - 175k-190k before bonus and depending on experience
Position Overview
The Regional Scheduling Manager will lead and manage scheduling activities across multiple construction projects within the region. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives, mitigating schedule risk, and driving on-time delivery through effective coordination with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines deep construction knowledge with advanced scheduling skills, particularly Primavera P6, and experience standardizing scheduling processes across a portfolio of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and validate integrated master schedules for multiple projects across the region using Primavera P6 and other scheduling tools.
- Lead schedule development workshops and coordinate input from project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure realistic, resource-loaded schedules.
- Monitor schedule progress, perform regular schedule health checks, identify variances, forecast schedule impacts, and recommend recovery plans to keep projects on track.
- Establish and enforce scheduling standards, templates, and best practices across the region to improve consistency and reporting accuracy.
- Provide training, mentoring, and technical oversight to regional schedulers and project teams on P6, scheduling techniques, and schedule change control processes.
- Perform critical path analysis, time impact analyses, and develop mitigation strategies for schedule risks and delays.
- Prepare clear, concise schedule reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and potential issues.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, and field teams to align resources, sequencing, and logistics with the schedule.
- Support contract reviews and change management by evaluating schedule impacts of change orders and claims.
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling processes, tools, and data management to increase efficiency and predictability.
Qualifications
- 7 years of scheduling experience in Construction, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional role.
- Expert proficiency with Primavera P6; experience with Microsoft Project and schedule analytics tools is a plus.
- Proven track record of developing and managing complex, resource-loaded construction schedules and performing critical path and time impact analyses.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, resource planning, and site operations.
- Demonstrated experience standardizing scheduling processes and providing training/mentorship to other schedulers.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present schedule information to executives and clients.
- Hands-on experience with schedule risk identification and mitigation, delay analysis, and claims support.
- Willingness to travel within the region and to project sites as required. Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP (AACE) or equivalent are preferred.
