Position Overview
The Refrigeration Service Manager is responsible for overseeing the service operations of the refrigeration department. This role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction while achieving operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the refrigeration service team, providing guidance and support to technicians.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, including EPA certifications.
• Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of service calls to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor service performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and address any service-related concerns promptly.
• Assist in the training and development of technicians in line with best practices and new technology.
• Manage inventory and procurement of parts and equipment needed for service operations.
• Prepare and manage budgets for the refrigeration service department.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in the refrigeration industry.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and technologies, including ThermoKing and Carrier.
• EPA 608 and EPA 609 certifications are required.
• Experience with APU repair and reefer maintenance.
• Familiarity with Karmak software for service management.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and customer service orientation.
• Technical certification in refrigeration or HVAC is preferred.
