The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing quality control processes, performing audits, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. This position is essential for maintaining our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards.
- Analyze data from quality inspections and tests to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with production teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action plans (CAPA) for non-conformances.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management and stakeholders.
- Train employees on quality standards and practices, including IPC 620 specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years as a Quality Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, including ISO 9001 and AS 9100.
- Familiarity with auditing processes and quality management systems.
- Certification from ASQ (American Society for Quality) is preferred.
- Experience with CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes.
- Knowledge of IPC 620 standards and requirements.
- $90,000-115,000
