Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler in the commercial construction sector to oversee project timelines and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be adept at utilizing scheduling software to facilitate efficient project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Conduct risk management assessments to identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions.
• Prepare Gantt charts and critical path analysis to illustrate project timelines.
• Allocate resources effectively to ensure optimal use of personnel and materials.
• Communicate regularly with team members to update on progress and address any scheduling concerns.
• Ensure all construction documentation is accurate and up-to-date throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate project coordination meetings to discuss scheduling issues and project updates.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a project scheduler in the commercial construction industry.
• Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of budgeting and resource allocation principles.
• Experience with risk management and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional time management and communication skills.
• Ability to create and interpret Gantt charts and critical path analysis.
