Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will oversee mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork, refrigeration, and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple HVAC projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and provide effective HVAC solutions.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of contractors and subcontractors involved in HVAC installations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Prepare project documentation, including proposals, contracts, and progress reports for stakeholders.
- Evaluate and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Ensure quality control and assurance across all project stages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC industry or related construction field.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, sheet metal, and refrigeration processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and timelines effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC or project management (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
