Project Manager (Heavy Civil)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Heavy Civil projects to lead and manage bridge construction and design projects. The ideal candidate will oversee project planning, execution, and completion while ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage heavy civil construction projects with a focus on bridge construction and design.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Develop project schedules and manage resources to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Monitor project progress, budget, and performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with TxDOT regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and present project updates to clients and stakeholders, addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project challenges.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the heavy civil construction sector.
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction and design principles.
• Experience with TxDOT regulations and guidelines.
• Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
