We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead ground up and renovation projects in the Healthcare and K12 Education sectors. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record managing complex, schedule driven projects from preconstruction through closeout.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams. The goal is to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Manage all phases of construction projects including planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and closeout
- Lead project meetings with owners, design teams, and subcontractors
- Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation
- Maintain project schedules and identify risks or delays early
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure quality control and timely execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and trade partners
- Prepare and present project status reports to leadership and stakeholders
- Support preconstruction efforts including estimating and constructability reviews
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 5 plus years of experience managing commercial construction projects
- Healthcare and or K12 project experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and cost control
- Experience with OSHPD HCAI, infection control, or occupied facility construction is a plus
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
