Position Overview

Project Manager - Commercial Doors (required)

The Project Manager will oversee commercial door construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project timelines, and directing project teams to achieve project goals efficiently. You will be overseeing the installation of commercial doors across various construction projects, including multifamily housing, government facilities, K-12 schools, and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and timelines to ensure successful project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
• Manage budgets and resources, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
• Prepare and review Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure timely responses.
• Ensure all construction drawings and specifications are accurately followed and implemented.
• Utilize Bluebeam software for project documentation and collaboration.
• Supervise project progress, conducting regular site visits and meetings to track milestones.
• Implement project management best practices and methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project updates and reports to management and clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software, including Microsoft Project and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction practices and Division 8 specifications.
• Experience with commercial doors, hardware, and related systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze project drawings and specifications critically.
• Familiarity with Comsense and Avaware software is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
