The Project Engineer will oversee and manage various engineering projects focusing on environmental remediation and construction. The ideal candidate is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry regulations, while also providing technical guidance and support to project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate engineering projects from conception to completion with a focus on environmental remediation.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to meet project goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including environmental specialists and construction teams, to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct site assessments and inspections to ensure project adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to stakeholders and clients.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, proposals, and contract documents.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in construction or environmental remediation projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to environmental and construction projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Wilingness to travel 25-50%
- EIT, PE license or ability to acquire once hired
- Previous experience with USACE, DoD, USFS, BLM, EPA or other Federal projects
