The Healthcare Project Architect is responsible for leading the design and implementation of healthcare facilities, ensuring that projects meet healthcare regulations, architectural standards, and the needs of stakeholders. This role combines expertise in architecture with project management and a deep understanding of health IT to deliver innovative solutions that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of healthcare facility projects from concept to completion.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and healthcare professionals to create efficient building designs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and incorporate feedback into design and implementation processes.
- Conduct data analysis and workflow optimization to improve facility operations and user experience.
- Oversee construction management to ensure that designs are executed as planned and to address any on-site challenges.
- Facilitate system integration and quality assurance processes to ensure all technologies function seamlessly within the healthcare environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional licensure as an architect.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare architecture or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of health IT systems and their application in healthcare settings.
- Proven experience in project management with a track record of successful project completion.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards in healthcare.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various levels of an organization.
- Experience in building design, construction management, and user experience optimization.
- Proficient in data analysis and workflow optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
