Project Accountant

Position Overview
Seeking a detail-oriented Accounting professional to support project financial management for commercial and multi-family construction projects. This role will oversee billing, financial reporting, and project closeout while partnering with internal teams to drive accuracy and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly AIA billings and supporting documentation
• Manage lien waivers and track accounts receivable collections
• Analyze project budgets vs. actuals and report insights to leadership
• Support forecasting, financial reporting, and performance analysis
• Assist with project financial closeouts, including subcontract and PO reconciliation
• Complete cost certifications and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Collaborative mindset with high integrity and professionalism
