The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in the manufacturing facility, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves supervising staff, managing workflows, and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality standards and optimize performance.
- Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Analyze production metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and improve processes.
- Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts.
- Proven experience in production or manufacturing roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of production processes and machinery - mechanical aptitude strong desired.
- Familiarity with assembly techniques and plastic (Injection/Blow) manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Experience with Six Sigma principles is desirable.
- Hourly Range: $32 - $37 /hr (Paid OT)
