Production Supervisor - Night Shift 

Salary: $90k-$100k DOE

Location: Queens, NY on-site - 11pm- 7am

Requirements: 5 years experience in Food Manufacturing Production Environment, 3 years Production Supervisory experience, Knowldge and experience with GMP, HAACP, OSHA, Bilingual Spanish Preferred, ERP, Unionized workforce

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor for our Night Shift operations in the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is vital in leading our team to achieve production goals and implement process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the night shift production activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations including HACCP, GMP, and FDA standards.
• Monitor production metrics and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Lead and train production staff to maintain high performance and safety standards.
• Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise during the shift.
• Facilitate scheduling and workforce management to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food manufacturing and production supervision.
• Strong background in process improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production metrics analysis.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control practices.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus for effective communication with staff.
