Production Planning Supervisor - Assembly Based Manufacturing
$90-110k Bonus

As the Planning Supervisor, you are the heartbeat of our Billerica manufacturing operations. This isn't just about moving dates in a system; it's about orchestrating a high-velocity production environment where complex multilevel BOMs and tight constraints are the norm. You will lead a dedicated team of Buyer-Planners to translate customer demand into a flawless Master Production Schedule (MPS), ensuring we deliver excellence while maintaining lean inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the MPS, balancing sales forecasts and order backlogs against real-world internal supply and capacity constraints.
• Provide direct mentorship and daily supervision to a small team of Buyer-Planners
• Collaborate daily with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to resolve bottlenecks and ensure total alignment on production goals.
• Proactively identify capacity risks and drive solutions before they impact the customer.
• Oversee the release of work orders via MRP and Kanban signals; drive the timely closure of orders and resolve inventory discrepancies with the warehouse team.

Qualifications

• 3 years of of high-level planning experience within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Certifications in Supply Chain Management are a plus. (APICS, CSCP, CPIM, ASCM, etc)
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-level Bills of Materials and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy setting.
• Advanced MS Excel skills are non-negotiable. 
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or Thruput is highly preferred.
