Production Manager

Schedule: 6 pm- 6 am on a 2, 2, 3 schedule

Location: Norfolk, NE

Pay: $90-115k DOE, plus 10% bonus

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee and coordinate our night shift operations in the food manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain high quality standards, and lead a team to achieve operational goals. This role involves managing resources, scheduling, and inventory control while ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift operations and ensure smooth production processes.
• Manage and lead the production team, providing guidance and support.
• Implement and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate scheduling and allocation of resources effectively to meet production targets.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and manage procurement as needed.
• Analyze production data to optimize processes and reduce waste.
• Prepare operating budgets and control costs within the production department.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and communication.
• Train and develop staff to enhance productivity and performance.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food or dairy manufacturing.
• 3 years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of evaporators, drying processes, and dairy production.
• Experience in developing and implementing SOPs.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Proficient in operating budgets and financial control.
• Excellent scheduling and resource allocation abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Bilingual Spanish is preferred but not required
