The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert guidance in foundation design, engineering geology, and environmental engineering, ensuring project success through innovative solutions and effective project management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct site investigations and assess ground conditions for various projects.
- Design and analyze foundations, slopes, and earthworks for construction projects.
- Prepare technical reports and provide recommendations based on geotechnical analyses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate geotechnical solutions into project designs.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for geotechnical challenges.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Microsoft Project for design and project management tasks.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in geotechnical engineering and related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
- Proficiency in foundation design, engineering geology, and environmental engineering.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical analysis.
- Experience with slope stability analysis and groundwater analysis.
- Familiarity with project management principles and risk assessment techniques.
- Competency in technical reporting and documentation.
- Experience with ground improvement techniques and site investigation processes.
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
