Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Oversee design and engineering for land development and public infrastructure projects (roads, utilities, drainage, grading).
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including stormwater management and environmental standards.
- Review and approve engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical guidance on site development, roadway design, water/wastewater systems, and utility coordination.
- Utilize advanced civil engineering software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, GIS tools).
- Manage multiple projects from concept through construction, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with architects, contractors, and public agencies.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Implement quality assurance and risk management strategies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in land development and public works sectors.
- Develop proposals, participate in interviews, and maintain strong client relationships.
- Represent the firm at industry events and public meetings to promote services and capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- 10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven experience in land development and public works projects.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
