We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter Foreman - HVAC to oversee and manage piping installation and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of pipefitters, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining high standards of workmanship throughout all stages of the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of pipefitters and other workers on-site.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards, conducting safety meetings and training as needed.
- Plan and organize the installation and maintenance of piping systems, including HVAC piping.
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of completed work to guarantee quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate project needs and updates.
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of pipefitting, welding, and installation techniques.
- Valid Connecticut S-1 or S-2 License and certifications for scissor and boom lift operation.
- OSHA 10 certification required.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Experience with HVAC piping systems and maintenance practices.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
